Korean Landscape Architects

Visit to ILAM
Date: 10 January 2019
Venue: ILAM Office at ALAMi Shah Alam

Seven Korean Landscape Architects from various landscape architecture related associations visited the ILAM office as part of their trip to Malaysia. The attendees discussed future collaborations between both countries and expressed their support for the upcoming IFLA2020 World Landscape Architects Summit in Penang. Later, the delegates were hosted by ILAM to a dinner at a local restaurant.

Workshop on “Project & Construction Management Certification Framework for Landscape Architect Professionals”
Date: 12 January 2019

A special workshop was conducted between

ILAM and Assoc. Prof. Sr. Dr. Fadzil Hassan, on a possibility to develop ILAM’s own certificate framework for project management and construction management, to be used for landscape architects practicing in Malaysia.

Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) Initiative on Landscape Submission Plan

Venue: Bintulu, Sarawak

Kudos to ILAM Sarawak Chapter as the Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) takes initiatives to have landscape plans submitted by landscape architects by April 2019. The meeting allowed landscape architects from ILAM Sarawak Chapter and SHEDA (Sarawak Housing And Real Estate Developer Association) to study their submission guidelines and make comments and improvements.

A courtesy call was organised by ILAM, headed by President, Assoc. Prof. LAr. Dr. Suhardi Maulan, to the Kuala Lumpur City Hall Mayor’s office, to officially introduce ILAM and the profession of Landscape Architects to the newly appointed Kuala Lumpur Mayor, YBhg. Dato’ Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan. 7 ILAM Council Members attended the meeting.

MLAA11 Judging Process
Date: 23-23 January 2019
Venue: Premiera Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

The Malaysia Landscape Architecture Awards (MLAA) has been held for the past 10 years. Stepping into the 11th edition this year, the award received a total of 141 exceptional submissions across 8 categories. The award started from Calling of Submission in mid-November 2018 until mid-January 2019.

The blind judging process was conducted for 2 days, where 12 jurors were divided into 3 groups, each assessing the assigned categories. The jurors were, Assoc. Prof. LAr. Dr. Nor Atiah Ismail (Head), Assoc. Prof. LAr. Dr. Osman Mohd Tahir, LAr. Mohd Raduan Mohd Daud, Kashino Naohiro, Ar. Mustapha Kamal Zulkarnain, Assoc. Prof. TPr. Dr. Saniah Ahmad Zaki, LAr. Siti Maisarah Salahudin, LAr. Wan Salamatul Juita Wan Hashim, LAr. Liew Ying Yie, LAr. Khairina Zek Khairuddin, LAr. Kaharuddin Asaruddin, and LAr. Mohd Yusoff Hamzah.

ILAM Southern & Northern Chapter Technical Excursion
Cameron Highlands Indigenous Green
Date: 24 -26 January 2019
Venue: Cameron Highlands, Pahang

Organised by ILAM Southern Chapter, around 40 participants from ILAM teamed up with local students and NGOs for this 3-day programme to study community approaches for managing stormwater (drainage) and slope treatment as a resilience indicator to judge the sustainability of agro tourism in the Cameron Highlands.

Malaysia Urban Forum (MUF) Round Table Session

ILAM attended the Roundtable Session organised by Urbanice Malaysia on the topic of urban culture and heritage. Among the key panelists were YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Zainoh Ibrahim, former Heritage Commissioner of Malaysia, Eddie Khoo, Founder Director of PUSAKA, Joe Sidek, Festival Director, George Town Festival, and others.

Landscape Run 2019

National Landscape Day 2019

Venue: Taman Botani Putrajaya

This annual celebration was once again organised by National Landscape Department and was graced by Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamd, as the Guest-of-Honour. The launch event was attended by representatives from city councils and also landscape architects. Besides attending the launch, ILAM also set up an exhibition booth to showcase the profession of landscape architects to the public.

ILAM Chapter Meeting
Date: 3 March 2019

All five ILAM Chapter representatives gathered with ILAM Council Members to meet and present their annual plans for chapter activities and also forward planning. During the meeting, ILAM also gave a short briefing to Chapter representatives on their upcoming involvement in the IFLA2020 World Landscape Architects Summit in George Town, Penang.

Revisioning Sungai Perai Workshop
Date: 5-6 March 2019
Venue: The Light, Butterworth

A 2 day workshop was jointly organised by Majlis Perbandaran Seberang Perai and ThinkCity on Perai River. ILAM was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Osman Mohd Tahir and LAr. Charles Teo. The workshop included a visit to the site and expert group discussions to formulate a recommendation for the future plan of Sungai Perai.

StarProperty.my Awards 2019

Landscape Architecture Professional Courses
(KAIAL 2019)

A total of 43 candidates sat for the 2 day professional course in preparation for the ILAM Professional Examination, (30-31 March 2019),

at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). This year witnessed the introduction of a new module,

in line with the current needs of professional practice.

PALMA Visit to Melbourne

Khazanah Design Residency
Post-Residency Presentation Workshop

Upon the completion of their Residency Programme, LAr. Teng Pe Yang (Permata Green Sdn Bhd), LAr. Khairul Amin bin Mirsa Hussain (Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur), Ar. Angus Lee Ching Hua (Ubiqarts Solutions Sdn Bhd), and Ar. Muhammad Qhawarizmi bin Norhisham (Qhawarizmi Architect), shared their residency work for Taman Tugu and ThinkCity, with the public, at the Taman Tugu Forest House. This workshop session was a good opportunity to get the fellows’ insights on their residency experience in Milan, Italy. ILAM President, Assoc. Prof. LAr. Dr. Suhardi Maulan attended the event.

ILAM Youth Chapter (IYC)
The Making of IFLA2020 Video

Date: 30 March 2019 – 1 April 2019
Venue: Penang

About five ILAM Youth Chapter members under the videographer, Garis PXL, conducted a 3 day on-location video shoot for the IFLA2020 World Landscape Architects Summit final promotional video. The 3 minute video covers scenes around George Town, Penang Hill, and also Air Hitam Dalam, Seberang Perai. The video premiered during the MLAA11 Gala Night as an update to the upcoming IFLA2020 in George Town, Penang.

ILAM Professional Examination 2019
Date: 30-31 March 2019

Weeks after the KAIAL Professional Courses, the annual ILAM Professional Examination was held in UPM for two days, to certify the next batch of professional Landscape Architects under a new module. This year, there were a record 40 candidates sitting for professional examinations.

A courtesy call was made to the Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Professor Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail by ILAM IFLA2020 Organising Committee members to gain support and collaboration of USM as a strategic partner for the upcoming IFLA2020 in Penang. The discussion included USM hosting the IFLA International Student Charrette and also providing technical support for the paper presentations and technical tours.

A workshop was organised by ILAM to further access the standards and procedures for the Landscape Architecture Programme Accreditation in line with current needs. The workshop was organised by ILAM Education, Research & KAIAL Committee, headed by LAr. Mohd Nazri Saidon. Among matters in the workshop were issues and solutions, and making amendments and refinements to the current standards and guidelines.

IFLA2020 Main Organising Committee Meeting

After several IFLA2020 Steering Committee meetings, a special meeting was called to engage with the person in charge of each organising committee formed under the IFLA2020 organising team. The meeting gave a quick update on the congress, milestones, and explained each of the committees’ roles and responsibilities. This will allow each leader to conduct a detailed discussion with their members.

About 30 friends from the media attended the ILAM Annual MLAA Media Roundtable Session to view the latest insights into this year’s event. The session was chaired by ILAM President, Assoc. Prof. LAr. Dr. Suhardi Maulan and Vice President, Assoc. Prof. LAr. Dr. Nor Atiah Ismail. Among the highlights was the new Young Landscape Architect Award, alongside the introduction of the ILAM Lifetime Achievement Award.

University Tour –

Connecting the Youth

ILAM Youth Chapter conducted a university tours to connect to the landscape architecture students in both Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Universiti Islam Antarabangsa (UIA). The tours aim to give exposure to the future landscape architects about their future career, the profession prospect and also the role of ILAM and ILAM Youth Chapter.

Let’s Talk, hosted by Sharaad Kuttan, is a 30-minute programme that dissects and takes a deeper look into current issues that matter. ILAM has been privileged to be featured on the show with the topic of Landscape Architecture and Climate Change. Among the personality highlights were LAr. Norliza Mohd Yusof (Clouston Design Studio), Julien Walker (Walrus Design) and Mohamad Fakri Zaky Ja’afar from Faculty of Design & Architecture, UPM. The talk show considered the role of landscape architects and how they contribute to combatting climate change, creating a more comfortable and safe living environment for all.

DBKL Shade Trees

Management Plan Launch

A year after the DBKL Shade Trees Management Workshop was held, the launch of the DBKL Shade Tree Management Plan was hosted by the Kuala Lumpur Mayor, YBhg. Dato’ Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan. The plan will provide the best practice for the management of shade trees in Kuala Lumpur.

This programme, jointly organised by UTM and in collaboration with ILAM Southern Chapter, showcased outstanding work and talent from undergraduate students in UTM. Meeting with National Landscape Department on IFLA2020 World Landscape Architects Summit

A courtesy call was made to the office of the Director General of National Landscape Department, Puan Hajjah Rotina Mohd Daik, to further discuss the details for the National Landscape Department’s involvement as the Co-organiser with ILAM for the upcoming IFLA2020 World Landscape Architects Summit. A special column interview by China Press was attended by LAr. Lee Choong Hong, the Principal of Just Right Design, one of the winners in the MLAA11 Professional Category, for Puteri Coves Residences. In this special interview, LAr. Lee stressed that the importance of landscape architectural practice is to strike a balance between green spaces and the built environment, bringing the two elements into harmony for our well-being.

DBKL Simultaneous Tree

Planting Campaign

As one of the Kuala Lumpur City Hall’s effort towards Low Carbon Initiatives, the city hall has embarked on a tree planting campaign which ran simultaneously at two separate locations which is Taman Rimba Bukit Kerinchi and Dataran Wangsa 1 Open Space. The event was graced by the Mayor, YBhg. Dato’ Nor Hisham Ahmad Dahlan and Member of Parliament for Wangsa Maju, YB Datin Paduka Dr Tan Yee Kew.

Hari Raya Open House

Hosted by Khazanah Nasional, this grand Hari Raya Open House was attended by ILAM to celebrate our strong partnership with Khazanah Nasional. Khazanah Nasional and ILAM has collaborated in various activities such as Taman Tugu Greenovation Design Competition and Khazanah Residency Programme.

ILAM AGM & Raya Open House 2019

About 211 members attended the ILAM Annual General Meeting 2018/2019 followed by ILAM Hari Raya Open House 2019. ILAM Members took the opportunity to meet and catch-up with each other. Sumptuous Raya delicacies were served during the Raya Open House. ILAM would like to express our deepest appreciation to Perbadanan Putrajaya for supporting on the usage of the hall at Perbadanan Putrajaya.

Casual Meet Up

with SILA President

ILAM was delighted to have a casual meet up with Ronnie Tan, President of the Singapore Institute of Landscape Architects (SILA), during his visit to Malaysia, for a community project undertaken by the group. Sabah Chapter joins Children Playground Safety Courses
Date: 16-17 July 2019

Venue: Promenade Hotel, KK

This was a one and a half day playground safety course, aimed at cultivating awareness about playground safety, among local authorities, in Sabah. This event was organised by Jabatan Perancangan Bandar & Wilayah, Sabah. The participants took the opportunity to conduct a site visit to playgrounds, for inspection and additional briefings.

iDEA 2019

Judging Process

The iProperty Development Excellence Awards (iDEA) are a recognition of excellence in the property development industry. For the 3rd year running, the event raised the spotlight on the industry’s most accomplished developers and developments. The coveted title of distinction was awarded to the most outstanding projects in highly regarded categories. ILAM was delighted to have been part of the judging panel for iDEA2019, which was attended by ILAM Vice President, Assoc Prof. LAr. Dr. Nor Atiah Ismail.

IFLA2020 Meeting with Tourism Malaysia & Perbadanan Putrajaya

Venue: Perbadanan Putrajaya

ILAM met with Tourism Malaysia and Perbadanan Putrajaya to focus on promoting the upcoming IFLA2020 World Landscape Architects Summit. Among the assistance offered by Tourism Malaysia was related to the IFLA2019 World Congress promotional support in Oslo, Norway; IFLA2020 Press Conference in Penang, and also collaboration with FLORIA Putrajaya.

ILAM Southern Chapter
Singapore Biophilic Tour

Date: 15-16 July 2019

Venue: Singapore

This Biennial ILAM Southern Chapter event was a learning trip, to explore new design solutions in biophilic design. Around 40 participants joined the two-day city tour in Singapore, covering 7 project sites. It also aimed to promote future collaboration between the Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia (ILAM), and the Singapore Institute of Landscape Architects (SILA).

ALAM (Assembly of Landscape Architecture Students Malaysia) is an annual program that brings together students of landscape architecture throughout Malaysia. It is not only a foundation of scientific programs that emphasise the creative aspect of landscape architecture students through workshops and design competitions, but it is also a medium for strengthening social networking and soft skills for landscape architecture students. ILAM Council Members, ILAM Youth Chapter, and Corporate Members were among those involved in this programme.

FLORIA 2019
Designer Garden Presentation

Date: 26 July 2019

Venue: Perbadanan Putrajaya

This year, ILAM highlighted 4 talented young landscape architects during the FLORIA Putrajaya 2019 Designer Garden Showcase. Prior to the garden construction, the designers were required to present their design concept to the organiser, Perbadanan Putrajaya. The designers, led by LAr. Abd Aziz Othman and LAr. Dr. Roziya Ibrahim, were: LAr. Teng Pe Yang, LAr. Anith Ahmad Rosli, LAr. Nazri Ishak and LAr. Ang See May.

IFLA2020 Second Working Committee Workshop

Venue: FRSB, UPM

The working committee of IFLA2020 held a comprehensive meeting about formulating detailed programmes for each of the activities during IFLA2020. The team also looked at programme integration between each committee and formulating budget proposals.

MLAA Showcase 2019

Each year, the ILAM Centre of Excellence (ICE) organises site visits to selected MLAA award winning projects. This year, the team travelled to Iskandar Puteri, and visited projects such as, Puteri Cove Residences & Quayside, Afiniti Medini, Masjid Kota Iskandar Puteri and The Medini Edible Park, with a briefing by the landscape architects themselves.

Fraternity Evening

Date: 31 July 2019

Venue: Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur

ILAM was invited by Malaysian Professional Centre (BIM) to be part of the evening to celebrate professionals in Malaysia. The evening consisted of a welcome address by the BIM Chairman, followed by a presentation by H.E. Pascal H Gregoire, Ambassador for Belgium, on the topic of “Digitisation: Impact of Professionals in EU”. ILAM was represented by Youth Chapter Committee and Corporate Members.

IFLA2020 Update Meeting
with Penang Chief Minister

Venue: Penang Chief Minister Office

Following the Press Conference, the Chief Minister of Penang, YB Chow Kon Yeow, hosted a meeting with ILAM to understand the progress of IFLA2020. Via this meeting, the Chief Minister’s office agreed to host the IFLA2020 Closing Gala Night, and IFLA World Exco Meeting, as their support for IFLA2020. Thank you YB Chow.

Royal Floria Putrajaya 2019
Judging Process

Date: 29 August 2019

Venue: Taman Botani Putrajaya

The 11th edition of the Royal Floria Putrajaya returned this year, with the theme ‘Mother of all Gardens’, featuring fine examples of Bonsai and Orchids. Under the leadership of ILAM Centre of Excellence (ICE), the company conducted the jury session for the showcase gardens, in various categories. Approximately 15 landscape architects were involved in the jury session.

James Hayter, President of the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) made a trip to Penang and Kuala Lumpur to promote the upcoming IFLA2020 World Congress in Penang. Mr Hayter also delivered two public talk sessions at The Habitat, Penang Hill, and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), respectively.

Advisory Committee Meeting

The first ever IFLA2020 Advisory Committee Meeting was held to meet key organising partners such as the National Landscape Department, Penang State City Council, Seberang Perai City Council and Penang State Secretary Office. The meeting aimed to brief participants about the planning progress for IFLA2020 and to seek collaboration for hosting the event.

Press Conference

The official IFLA2020 World Landscape Architects Summit press conference was hosted at KOMTAR, Penang, by YB Yeoh Soon Hin, Penang State EXCO for Tourism Development, Arts, Culture and Heritage (PETACH). The press conference began with IFLA2020 video showcase, followed by speeches from IFLA President, James Hayter and ILAM President, Assoc Prof. LAr. Dr. Suhardi Maulan, along with a press statement, by YB Yeoh Soon Hin. The session was attended by ILAM Northern Chapter members and friends of the media.

Royal Floria Putrajaya 2019
Public Talk

Venue: Taman Botani Putrajaya

A trio from ILAM, with the expertise in the topic of Low Carbon, spoke to the public about the topic, ‘Landscape Planning-Towards Low Carbon City’. The topic focused on how landscape architectural design and planning approaches can contribute to the city to achieve Low Carbon initiatives. The trio representing ILAM were: LAr. Norliza Mohd Yusof, LAr. Danial A. Hasan, and LAr. Sabarudin Buang.

Young People’s Lab
2019

Venue: Ruang by Think City

The annual YP’s Lab happened, once again, with a youthful organising team. This year, the event was hosted by ILAM, with Youth Chapter members acting as the main driving force behind the scenes. The one-day interventional workshop was attended by more than 50 participants, supported by Think City, PAM, MIP, and REHDA. Among the speakers were Ar. Muhammad Qhawarizmi Norhisham, Principal Architect of QWA Architect, and Inch Lim, Principal / Landscape Architect from Inchscape Sdn Bhd.

IFLA2019
World Council Meeting

Date: 16-17 September 2019

Venue: Oslo, Norway

This year, the meeting was attended by more than 80 participants from IFLA Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, and Middle East regions. The new, refreshing meeting format was also introduced encouraging an interactive undertaking, with each region participating in the discussion process and workshop. ILAM was once again ably represented by our delegate to the meeting, Assoc Prof LAr. Dr. Nor Atiah Ismail.

IFLA2019
World Congress

Date: 18-20 September 2019

Venue: Oslo, Norway

IFLA2019 World Congress was hosted by the city of Oslo, Norway, with the event being attended by more than 1000 delegates. Themed: ‘Common Ground’, the two-day congress, set in Oslo’s Congress Centre, featured 12 inspirational and engaging keynote speakers alongside strong and beautiful local voices speaking on behalf of the landscape architecture industry. The event was attended by more than 20 delegates from Malaysia, with the highlight being the IFLA2020 Flag Handover Ceremony to Malaysian delegates.

Flag Handover Ceremony

Date: 20 September 2019

Venue: Oslo City Hall, Norway

The highlight of the IFLA2019 World Congress was the Flag-Handover Ceremony for the IFLA 2020, at the Oslo City Hall Reception, Norway. The flag was presented to Assoc Prof LAr. Dr Suhardi Maulan, President of Institute of Landscape Architects, Malaysia (ILAM), and Hajah Rotina Mohd Daik, Director General of National Landscape Department of Malaysia, accompanied by delegates representing landscape architects from ILAM, the public sector, universities, and city councils throughout Malaysia.

Awards Ceremony

The 2019 edition of iProperty.com.my awards iDEA2019 was in the spotlight with more than 40 awards being presented, following the jury process, which involved the ILAM Vice President, Assoc. Asian Cultural Landscape

Association Congress 2019

ACLA2019 was held in conjunction with the Johor Landscape Day 2019, which is a state-level annual celebration. This year, Johor hosted the Asian Cultural Landscape Association (ACLA) Conference, introducing the theme, ‘Perception and Aesthetics of Cultural Landscape in Asia’. The program was officiated by Yang Berhormat Mr. Tan Chen Choon, Committee Chairman for Local Government, Urban Well-being and Environment, as the official representative of YAB Menteri Besar Johor.

ALAS Yuan Ye

Conference 2019

The annual Asian Landscape Architecture Society (ALAS) Yuan Ye Conference was attended by Prof. LAr. Ts. Dr. Osman Mohd Tahir, at the Shandong Jianzhu University, Shandong Province, China. Asia Pacific Urban Forum

Date: 15-17 October 2019

Venue: SPICE, Penang

More than 3,000 delegates participated in the 7th Asia-Pacific Urban Forum (APUF-7), with the stated aim of accelerating the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and New Urban Agenda in the region. Given the region’s vulnerable position in the wake of climate change, the announced deep dive into urban resilience should be of particular interest, while other sessions on urban and territorial planning, smart cities and urban finance were also helmed during this forum. Dato’ LAr. Ismail Ngah, and LAr Amos Ng, attended the event, in SPICE Penang.

Kolosunan Community Development Workshop
Date: 19-20 October 2019

Venue: Kg. Kolosunan, Sabah

ILAM Sabah Chapter was invited to collaborate with Dewan Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu (DBKK) to organise the Kolosunan Community Development Workshop at Kg. Kolosunan, Inanam, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This CSR project aims to assist DBKK in developing special resource planning for Kg. Kolosunan. The program was joined by at least 40 participants, with 12 from ILAM.

SPARK 3:
Landscape Architecture International Dialogue

The annual SPARK gathering is a platform for creativity, collaboration, and communication, organised in conjunction with KUL Design Month. This year, SPARK marched into its third edition, curated by ILAM Youth Chapter and managed by ILAM Centre of Excellence (ICE). The event was attended by more than 100 participants from various design fields, with the content ranging from Performances, Documentary, Keynote & Panel Sessions, Feature Talk, Sharing Session and Activities.

KUL Design 2019
Appreciation Night

To celebrate and conclude this year’s event, Kuala Lumpur City Hall invited all the organising partners under one roof to celebrate with music and food. Meeting on Developing Guidelines for Tree Inventory and Assessment
Date: 31 October 2019

Venue: ILAM Office @ ALAMi

A focus group discussion meeting was held between ILAM and other industry players from the education, public and private sectors, including the Malaysian Society Of Arborists, to discuss the guidelines for Tree Inventory and assessment, developed by ILAM. This will be conducted in the form of a standard checklist, to be used by landscape architects, for preparing TCLM reports, as part of the TPO procedures. The Meeting was led by ILAM Professional Services Chair, LAr. Sabarudin Buang.

IFLA Europe General Assembly

& Landscape Architecture Congress

As part of ILAM’s efforts to promote IFLA2020 at the regional IFLA Congress, our team, consisting of LAr. Mohd Fadrillah Mohd Taib and LAr. Sabarudin Buang, attended the 7th European Landscape Architecture Congress, themed “Landscapes as Collective Memories”. During the congress, ILAM was given an opportunity to promote the upcoming Malaysia-bound IFLA2020 World Landscape Architects Summit.

Asia Pacific Regional Congress

Date: 7-9 November 2019

Venue: Cebu City, Philippines

The International Federation of Landscape Architects Asia-Pacific Region (IFLA APR) Congress and Council Meetings were held to champion both local and global issues related to Landscape Architecture. Part of this year’s event was the IFLA Asia Pacific Regional Council Meeting, in which ILAM was represented by Assoc Prof. LAr. Dr. Nor Atiah Ismail as the delegate, while LAr. Mohd Nazri Saidon, and LAr. Danial A Hasan, were observers. During the meeting, ILAM also made a remark to welcome delegates to IFLA2020 World Landscape Architects Summit.

Aerial Imaging
in Landscape Project

ILAM Centre of Excellence (ICE) once again organised a one-day talk, focusing on aerial imaging. The talk aimed to expose landscape architects to the latest technology in aerial imaging to assist in field work, exploring potential solutions, challenges, demands, and benefits for future use. Among the speakers were LAr. Norliza Mohd Yusof (Clouston Design), LAr. Mohd Feyriyss Md Mohtar (Ecoworld), and Jimmy Chung (UAS).

ICCA Asia Pacific
Summit 2019

The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) Asia Pacific Congress is a platform that gathers key players in the congress and convention industry and this year the event was hosted by Penang State Government. ILAM was delighted to be invited to present the case study for IFLA2020 World Landscape Architecture Congress during a panel session, together with panelists from Japan and New Zealand. LAr. Charles Teo, the Event Director for IFLA2020, represented ILAM.

Open Day

Once again, ILAM organised the MLAA Open Day, as part of our efforts to raise the bar for the MLAA award submissions, and educate participants about the best way to compile their information. 50 participants from various backgrounds such as professional landscape architects, developers, landscape contractors, government agencies, researchers, and students, attended the briefing. LAr. Charles Teo delivered the briefing and Q&A session.
