CPD POINTS & MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
 

Dear Corporate and Graduate Members,

 

Since 2012, ILAM has introduced the CPD point requirements to be fully implemented by Jan 2014 for renewal of membership.

 

The requirements are as below:

• Graduate Member: 5 points annually

• Corporate Member: 10 points annually

• Corporate Member (55-60 years old): 5 points annually

 

In order to build up the CPD awareness, ILAM CPD Committee has suggested the following measures:

1. In January 2014, member who have not collected sufficient points will be allowed to renew for the first 3 years for (Jan 2014, Jan 2015, Jan 2016)

2. However, by the beginning of Jan 2017, member are requested to have sufficient points for the past 3 years in order to renew the membership in Jan 2017.

3. This is a one off trial period of 3 years and after the said period, CPD points will be requested yearly for membership renewal.

 

    EXAMPLE:    

A Corporate Member is required 10 points annually, on the first 3 years of CPD introduction years (2014-2016), he/she can renew annually even the points is not sufficient.

 

However after 3 years on January 2017, he/she are requested to collect at least up to 30 points to be able to renew the membership.
