The Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia invites participation in the 16th Malaysia Landscape Architecture Awards, a platform that acknowledges outstanding works and contributions across the profession. The awards welcome entries from landscape architecture practices, developers, researchers, students, contractors, suppliers, public agencies, non-profits and independent professionals from Malaysia and abroad.
Projects or works submitted must not have previously received an MLAA award within the same category. Selected winners will be featured in the upcoming Landscape Architecture Malaysia Yearbook and celebrated at the MLAA Gala Night, scheduled for June 2026 in Kuala Lumpur. Held in conjunction with World Landscape Architecture Month, this annual recognition highlights exemplary projects that shape our cities, communities and environment.
Award Exposure
Landscape Architecture Malaysia Yearbook
Gain exposure for your projects via the MLAA submission. Qualified submissions will be published in ILAM’s annual coffee-table book.
Media Exposure
Selected winners of MLAA may be highlighted for media interviews before/after the award ceremony.
CPD and Seminar
Outstanding projects will be invited to share the projects with the professionals via ILAM CPD Events.
Online Exposure
Outstanding projects will be featured in ILAM online microsite.
MLAA16 Award Focus
The Malaysia Landscape Architecture Awards will emphasize Nature-based Solutions (NBS) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG2030) as key drivers for the landscape architecture industry in Malaysia.
Projects will be assessed not only on their creative design concepts and planning but also on the effective integration of NBS and SDG at every scale. This shift aims to highlight efforts that prioritize sustainability that will contribute to a greener and more resilient future.
